I noticed the owner reads this reviews and responded to people and that is the service I'm talking about. That alone made me change my review from 1 Star to 3 Stars!

My second issue just occurred last week. We ordered a door mat online. We get home on a Wednesday to find a note in the door that we need to pick it up at the store. I go to the store on Saturday, and they can not find it! I was informed that they would look for it and give me a call. That the computer showed it at the store.
Stay away from the Post Office in town and enjoy the co-operation and convenience of this store on the By-Pass. It's a "can do" store with "can do people".
However, I still favor independent ownership rather than large corporations who never see the customer experience.
Corporate UPS (The UPS Store) they are actually franchised, and FedEx Office stores (Corporate FedEx) are definitely not the same. Corporate Stores should be closed. I was not made to feel welcome at The UPS Store in Richmond, KY and the shipping specialist did not acknowledge me. They quotes me $55.00 and then asked for a $123.40 payment. I just walked out. I went to FedEx at Impact Global Shipping or IGS behind them and it only cost me $29.90! The UPS Store tried to rip me off!
The only reason they are getting 1 star is because it will not allow me to give them 0! I have used this store twice and have had issues both times. The first time I paid to have guaranteed delivery, and it did not get there in time. I was given in store credit for my next purchase.
I went by the Richmond store this morning, I was supposed to be at work by 8 but I figured I'd be a few minutes late and got a package shipped because they were supposably going to open at 8. I sit there until 8:10 and no employees ever showed up.
Today, Tuesday, I had not heard anything so I called back. I was informed that they believed it had been sent back as "rejected" even though none of the employees rejected it. The young lady said I should contact the company. When I said, "so, I'm out all the trouble and time because of UPS's mistakes" and her reply was "YES!".
